If you feel God calling you or your group to the Czech Republic know that you would be serving alongside current missionaries with a passion for the Gospel and have opportunities to serve in many different capacities.
A heart for orphans: We are looking for a group of 10-30 people who have a heart for ministering to orphans. This would consist of coaching/instructing kids in sports, teaching English, music, spending time in conversation and finding creative ways to share Christ. The team would organize and run daily sessions as well as develop relationships over the week with the kids.
Camp Assistance: We need a team of 5 - 15 people to help assist at a Family English Camp. The main focus would be to plan daily English lessons of approx. 4 hours in the mornings using activities and conversation in order to help the students speak as much as possible. The English classes usually contain a part based on a Bible passage or a Christian topic (approx.. 30-40% of the time). The goal of the week is to teach English and to present the gospel (not so much basic facts but rather personal faith).
Helping hands: We are looking for teams of skilled and unskilled laborers for projects around the mission center. In the area of Skilled Laborers we need those who are skilled in the area of working with construction and also in masonry. In the area of unskilled labor we need those who are able to help with General Maintenance tasks such as painting, repairing things, and simple building projects.
Teaching English as a second language: We are looking for small teams to join in anytime from February to May in the ESL School. The teams would have the opportunity to share culture and life with the students through teaching classes, 1 on 1 conversation or other activities that would help improve the student’s ability to communicate but also open doors to conversations about personal faith in Jesus Christ.
Intern opportunity: There are openings to take interns for 3-6 month throughout the year and you'll be involved in many aspects of the ministry, from Orphan camps through to Family English camps, learning new skills and getting to use your gifting in the local community. This is a great opportunity for someone seeking experience in missions. Your accommodations will be excellent and the food great!

If you or your group is going on a mission trip with HSM, each member of your group must complete a Mission Application. To receive one, send an email to missiontrips@hsminc.org and we will send you one right away.
Please remember that you will be traveling in a foreign country. Things do not always go as we plan. Flights get delayed, immigration doesn't go as smoothly as we hope, busses are late, the orphanage you wanted to visit may not be taking visitors the day you are available. The best way to handle this is to be flexible.
Keep in mind that you are there to serve the missionaries and assist them in their ministry. Allow God to work through you, not for you. In the end, you will have a greater experience than you could ever imagine.
